Intro to Photography
Ages 7-14
This 4 day camp, led by Jennifer Shaw, will offer students an introduction to the art of photography, through hands on projects exploring cyanotypes, pinhole cameras, and the basics of photographic composition. This program is offered in partnership with the New Orleans Photo Alliance

6:00pm - 9:00pm The 48 Hour Film Project Networking Reception Category : General The 48 Hour Film Project is a contest in which teams of filmmakers are assigned a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue, and have 48 hours to create a short film containing those elements. The 48 Hour Film Project comes to New Orleans on the weekend of August 13th. Filmmakers from all over the New Orleans will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world.
This reception is your opportunity to meet/ create teams or recruit team members to shoot your film, and to eye the competition. This is open to the public, but registration is on a first come ...
